Award for Future Leader of the Year

The purpose of this award is to acknowledge, encourage and, most importantly, promote the positive contribution made to the industry by young property professionals.

 

The award is open to young property professionals aged 35 or under as at March 2020. Note: This category is FREE for an employee of a Property Council of Australia member in that state, nominations can be made by an individual or a third party. 

 

The award winner will receive $5,000 worth of professional development training courses with the Property Council Academy. Academy courses are held around the country and are challenging, relevant and delivered by our industry experts.  The course funding is not transferable and is to be used by December 2020.

As a Design Manager for SHAPE Brisbane, Althea's role is to lead SHAPE's
D and C projects from conception to completion.

As well as her focus at SHAPE, Althea has taken Women in Design & Construction from a self-funded small networking group to an established business with over 4000 members nationally and attendance of between 120-180 women per event.

At Women in Design & Construction their mission is to empower, inspire, challenge and actively support women within the design, construction and related industries by creating a community of resilient and like-minded individuals who are leaders of the future.
