Do I need to be vaccinated to attend a Property Council event?

Yes.  Only fully vaccinated people can attend Property Council events.

Are there any exceptions to this?

The only exceptions to this are people who have a medical contraindication certificate.

When does this policy apply?

This policy is in effect until 31 December 2021. We will finalise a policy for 2022 in the coming weeks and update our information accordingly.

What does fully vaccinated mean?

Fully vaccinated means a person who has had 2 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.

How will you know I’m fully vaccinated?
There are a number of ways to access your  COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate.
You will be asked to show a copy of your digital vaccination certificate or contraindication certificate on arrival to one of our COVIDSafe Marshals. This is to help us ensure the health and safety of all attendees at the event, including our staff, and that we are able to comply with any applicable Government-issued public health directions.

Do my I (and/or guests) need to be fully vaccinated at the time of purchasing tickets?

Vaccination status will not be checked at the time of booking. 

When will I need to be fully vaccinated in order to attend?

You must be fully vaccinated before your arrival at the event and vaccination status will be checked at entry.

What if I cannot get vaccinated?

We require all attendees to to be fully vaccinated to attend 2021 events.

If you are eligible for vaccination but cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons please ensure you carry a completed contraindication certificate with you as this is the only exception accepted by NSW Health.

The certificate must be completed and signed by your Doctor.

How will you know that I’m fully vaccinated?

There are a number of ways to access your COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate.

We anticipate that by the time events are happening your Vaccine Passport will be integrated into the Service NSW QR Check In on arrival at the venue. Our CovidSafe Marshals will sight your check in and ensure you’re safe to enter.

Any visitor to events who are not fully vaccinated and do not have a contraindication certificate will be denied entry for safety reasons.

Why is vaccination a condition of entry in 2021?

The safety of our guests, speakers and staff is our top priority. Safety management relies on a suite of consistent measures to reduce the risk of COVID-19 and vaccination is one of the most effective measures available.

Will Property Council maintain this policy beyond 1 December?

Yes. To provide confidence and certainty to guests, speakers and staff, Property Council will maintain the requirement for attendees, staff and suppliers to be fully vaccinated for the remainder of 2021. We will be reviewing this policy for 2022.

When will you confirm if vaccination is a requirement for 2022 attendances?

We will review our vaccination policy in late 2021 for 2022.

If I am unable to produce proof of vaccination status at time of attendance, will I be entitled to a refund?

If you will not be fully vaccinated by the time of your attendance, you are entitled to a full refund of your ticket price.
